Ratho Barge Trip Report

Wonderful day out thanks to the Seagull Trust, Ratho. We all piled into our coach (the lovely Neil driving us!). Wet, wet start to the afternoon but spirits were high and the sun was out by the time we travelled along the canal. So relaxing and great to travel at such a leisurely pace.  Fun had by all.

Ratho trip

Ratho Trip.  Bus will leave the Bleachingfield at 1 30.  After trip we will eat at the Ratho Park Carvery (cost to be met individually), leaving around 7 30 pm for return to Dunbar.  We will pre-order meal – menu being sent from Restaurant.  (Now have maximum numbers – 12 on each barge(2) – waiting list open for cancellations).

Dunbar Community Woodland

John Sparksman has arranged a visit to the woods hosted by the Dunbar Community Woodland 2 30.  There will be a talk on woodlands/wood whittling etc. Tea & coffee and maybe some toasted marshmallows.  Maybe a short walk, learning about the trees for those who would like to.
