Co op Community Funding Cheque – 23 Nov 2019
What a morning!! Off down to the
Co op to pick up a cheque for an amazing £4951.14!!! A huge thank you to the Co op, and all the Co op members who nominated us. This will provide ongoing Art Therapy workshops for our two groups – can’t believe how fortunate we have been. Special thanks to Alan (Manager, Countess Crescent branch), Stephen (Manager, High Street branch) and respective Staff members, for all their support and assistance during our in-store visits over the year.

Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances, our Afternoon Tea scheduled to be held at West Barns Bowling Club on 10 October 2019 at 2 30 pm will now be held at Winterfield Golf Club.
First Meeting of Second Dunbar Dementia Carers Support Group – 2 October 2019
Our new second Carers Support Group got off to a flying start today. Connections made around the table were heartwarming – can tell that this is going to be a fun group!! Watch out when our two groups get together for social outings and events – watch this space…….

First Aid Training – Monday 30 September 2019
Dunbar Dementia Carers Support Group Co-ordinator and two of its volunteers attended a basic first aid training course. This was funded by a portion of a generous donation recently received, for which, we are extremely grateful.
