What fun and time nicely spent at our recent Easter Egg Painting competition (with just a wee bit competitiveness on display!). After much deliberation, the winners were chosen by our lovely judges, Elspeth and Melody – a hard task indeed.
Our thanks to John & Dorothy Denholm for representing Dunbar Dementia Carers Support Group and Dunbar Dementia Network, at the unveiling of a memorial stone in honour of Pilot, Flying Officer, Harry Kenneth Lillington Rice (aged 21) and Navigator, Flying Officer, Aubrey John Clarke (aged 23), who died in the Beaufighter crash at Middle Monynut during WW2. It was particularly fitting for Dorothy to attend as she was associated with the WRAC in her younger days.

Carers Group members and friends came together to enjoy Afternoon Tea on 14 March 2019,
raising a fantastic £158.00 for Maggie’s Centre, Edinburgh. Huge thanks to all who baked, brought treats to share and made the afternoon such an enjoyable, as well as successful, event.
Until October 2019, for any Coop Members buying Co-op branded products and services, the Co-op will give 1% to a local cause. Your support will allow us to continue supporting families living with a diagnosis of a dementia related condition by funding a series of Art Therapy workshops, providing companionship, fun and allowing folks to be creative.
